  • Overview

    Proficient with PC use in a Windows operating environment.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.

    Knowledge of JD Edwards and Prism platforms preferred.

    Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.

    Responsibilities

    Applies daily cash deposits against open customer invoices. Includes customer contact for remittance documentation.

    Process corrections to customer invoices by obtaining documentation.(Invoice copies, proof of delivery, bill of lading, return and order notes)

    Collects on all assigned Specialty Food Group accounts that are past due.

    Produce and email/mail customer account statements on request.

    Email/mail daily customer manual invoices.

    Access Walmart Retail Link for payment information.

    Resubmit invoices related to failed EDI transmission.

    Access customer web sites/portals to enter invoices in their AP system as necessary.

    Create and Process manual invoices for co-packers/vendors as needed.

    Scan and email/mail customer invoices as requested.

    Back up for credit release of customer orders.

    Create and process daily email communications with internal and external customers (sales, customer service, brokers, and customers)

    Performs other deparmtental responsibilities as directed.

    Assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards.

    Qualifications

    High School graduate or equivalent.

    1-2 years of accounts receivable experience.

    Ability to be oriented and organized in a fast paced work environment.

    Competencies

    Proficient with PC use in a Windows operating environment.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.

    Knowledge of JD Edwards and Prism platforms preferred.

    Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.

    Working Conditions/Environment

    Works in a normal office environment where employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, write, walk and bend while moving about the facility.  The noise level in the office is quiet.
