    Join the most disruptive brand in the frozen breakfast set! Our Operations Coordinator must be willing to make Bantam their highest priority through leading back end infrastructure and keeping our supply chain and operations team functioning at a high level. To ensure we maintain our high touch customer relationships, this role will partner with the Director of Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) on all customer service needs and operations support. By acting as the liaison between Bantam and our customers, this role will participate in all initiatives to improve infrastructure support and management to create solutions for the business.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and execute inventory maintenance including: finished product (at various warehouses), retail cartons, and raw materials
    • Track and record receipts for all incoming Purchase Orders
    • Assist the Director of S&OP with outbound shipment details:
      • Issue Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments
      • Track all outgoing freight shipments & confirm deliveries 
      • Coordinate date changes for Purchase Orders when necessary
      • Assist in exports of Purchase Orders when needed (ex. Starbucks)
    • Monitor on time arrivals of managed freight loads
    • Document support for all customer claims
    • Assist in creation of new UPC/GS1 barcodes and establishing new retail accounts with EDI partner SPS commerce

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required
    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel required
    • 1-3 years’ experience in customer service
    • 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/supply chain setting
    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to thrive in start-up environment
    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and proactively anticipate and address issues in an entrepreneurial culture

    Working Conditions/Environment

    Works in an office and (at times) manufacturing/warehousing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, hear, sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend while moving about the facility. The employee may be occasionally exposed to conditions consistent with a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the office is quiet and moderate in the manufacturing/ warehousing facilities. Hairnets are required in the manufacturing facilities in accordance with GMP and safety standards.

     

    While this role with be anchored in the New York City office with opportunity to work from home 1-2 days/week, the employee must be willing to travel 25-50% to visit manufacturing plants and/or warehouses (all within tri-state area). Potential for additional travel to assist in coordinating activities related to national food shows, large retailer, or press events.
