    Position Summary: The Finance Manager will lead the annual (zero base approach) for HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Shared Services, partner with Total Rewards leader on financial prowess to maximize decisions and impact to P&L, and act as financial lead for all reorganizations, reporting and analysis. Additionally, the Finance Manager will assist in monthly payroll entries, and lead salary, headcount, and benefit forecasting.



    • Thrive in a high energy, fast paced team environment to drive financial analysis and understanding of data risks and impact on business. Ultimately, identify and distill data into actionable insights that support business units in critical decision making processes.
    • Operate as the conduit between the HR and Finance teams as it primarily relates to financial reporting, including headcount forecasting, people-related cost accounting, and ad hoc financial analysis
    • Create and lead annual fiscal year (zero base approach) for HR, Compensation, Benefits and Shared Service teams
    • Strategically partner with VP and Directors within Talent Services to impact business P&L
    • Partner with the Total Rewards leader on financial prowess to maximize decisions as The Better Food Company
    • Through collaboration with HRIS, Compensation, and Benefits leaders develop focus and efficiency in system reporting capabilities to drive business insights
    • Act as financial lead for all reorganizations in partnership with HR team
    • Lead analysis and reporting of annual merit, bonus, and equity
    • Monthly/Quarterly Activities:
      • Payroll entries
      • Salary/headcount forecasting
      • Benefit forecasting
      • Variance reporting of actual results versus budget and prior period
    • Provide direct support to the finance organization as it relates to projects or programs that require HR-related data
    • Act as a highly skilled quantitative resource to support broad HR analyses to drive the strategic, long-term, talent plan
    • Perform ad hoc analyses, reporting, and projects as requested


    • 3-5 years’ work experience in a fast paced environment supporting HR and Talent teams
    • Highly superior analytical and quantitative skills leveraging Microsoft Suites to automate reporting, process large volume data, and interfacing with corporate reporting systems
    • Functional experience and a solid understanding of accounting practices, costing and P&L Management
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting with various levels of the organization
    • Ability to perform analysis of business information and identify trends
    • Ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks and projects to meet deadlines
    • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of business reporting
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred

    Working Conditions/Environment

    Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet.
