  • Overview

    The Maintenance Technician provides general mechanical and electrical support to Flatout Flatbreads manufacturing facility in the areas of manufacturing equipment/machine maintenance and repair, and facility maintenance and repair. The Maintenance Technician employs a positive, professional attitude at all times and communicates effectively in a team environment across all level of the organization.


    • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
    • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts/principles to other maintenance personnel
    • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
    • Provide operating instructions and/or training of production line manufacturing equipment to other plant associates
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
    • Perform non-technical assignments as requested by maintenance management
    • Maintain tools in good working condition and report damaged tools immediately
    • Complete work order tasks as assigned and report results
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1-3 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machinery
    • Must be able to work independently and as a group
    • Must be self-motivated and willing to make decisions
    • Must adhere to follow all safety rules, regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices

    Working Conditions/Environment

    Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift while moving about the facility. The associate is regularly exposed to fumes, odors, dust, oil, and slippery floors. The noise level in the plant is loud. Earplugs, hardhat, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets, (if facial hair exists) and steel toed/slip resistant shoes and gloves are required as necessary in the plant in accordance with company Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. The associate may be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment. Position may require continuous standing, squatting, lifting, sitting, bending, and moving.
