Angelic Bakehouse is hiring a Marketing Manager to serve in a multifaceted brand management role. You’ll be one of the cornerstones of our CPG growth strategy owning day-to-day business management, brand development and product management to drive growth within our retail (3,000+ locations across natural grocers, mass grocers, big box and club) and Ecommerce (Direct to Consumer, Amazon) sales channels. Primary channel focus is on our retail channel strategy driving trial and increasing our repeat purchase rate. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Planning: Assist in developing the marketing plan and budget allocations. Develop consumer marketing programs that can drive trial and repeat purchase with a specific focus on key retailers and DMAs.
  • Shopper and Retail Marketing: work directly with vendors, sales and retail partners to grow our in-store presence including couponing, promotional pricing strategy, retail advertising platforms, Instacart, POP/POS and demos/sampling. Determine effectiveness, ROI and recommended optimizations moving forward.
  • Product Management: utilize syndicated and retailer data to identify growth opportunities for our product lines. Lead the day-to-day of our product innovation roadmap owning the key activities to take products from concept to launch working with all cross-functional teams.
  • Advertising Agency Management: play an active role in managing advertising through agency partners. Insure marketing spend is driving KPIs.
  • Public Relations Agency Management: manage our PR efforts and media outreach owning the PR agency relationship. Achieve major consumer media placements that tell our brand and product stories getting our customers and retail buyers excited!


Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Six-plus years marketing experience with some brand management experience in the CPG industry, ideally in food.
  • Familiarity with Nielsen, IRI and SPINS industry data reporting.
  • Passion for great brand building.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into executional tactics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who embraces a leadership role in growing the culture of the organization.
  • Detail Oriented: attention to detail, ability to focus on the project or task at hand and consistently deliver results.
  • Project Management: can handle multiple ongoing short-term and long-term projects, work within deadlines, set realistic expectations and independently manage workload.
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions/Environment

The employee is regularly in a traditional office environment in a production facility.
