The Senior Creative Designer is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving natural foods company positioned for significant growth. This role will lead our entire creative practice across all mediums handling photography, design and creative strategy for all business needs including social media, front-end web design, email design, packaging, in-store POP/POS and marketing / sales collateral. Will champion design vision for the Angelic Bakehouse brand. Reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Key responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with marketing team on creative planning, brainstorming and development of all in-house design across social, web, packaging, video, print, merchandise, in-store, trade shows, overall brand identity and more.
  • Photography and illustration for content production, primarily for social media (with a focus on Instagram and Pinterest) and website.
  • Ability to food style for photo shoots.
  • Front-end web design; coding done by web development agency
  • Email design (HTML coding handled by agency)
  • Manage freelance creative resources as needed, particularly for social media content.
  • Update packaging graphics and assist with new packaging design concepts working with our package design agency
  • Assist with monthly content calendar for social media, blog and email working with the marketing team helping to brainstorm content ideas, find inspiration and determine practicality for creative execution
  • Own the brand standards including look and feel for the brand moving forward
  • Insure design consistency across all communication touchpoints
  • Develop marketing and sales collateral including print brochures, sales slicks and presentations working collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Handle design for POP/POS, shelf-talkers, channel strips and any other in-store physical materials
  • Assist with creative direction, as needed, for display and TV advertising. Larger creative executions developed in tandem with external creative resources.
  • Can see the big picture, but also understands that great brands and great design comes down to execution and the details
  • Stay abreast of creative and digital trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Six-plus years of experience in photography and design; some video shooting and editing experience desired
  • Proven record working across various creative disciplines (social, digital, packaging, print, video, etc.)
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into creative
  • Understands the production process for various types of creative outputs
  • Ability to provide strong POV, evaluate creative and provide actionable creative feedback
  • Storytelling/presentation skills
  • Previous experience working directly for a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company desired
  • Expert level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • At least knowledgeable in Adobe Sketch, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Dreamweaver
  • Knowledgeable in mobile-first design principles for all digital creative
  • Ideal, but not required knowledge of HTML and HTML5 banner design

  • Detail Oriented – Attention to detail, ability to focus on the project or task at hand and consistently deliver results.
  • Project Management – Can handle multiple ongoing short-term and long-term projects, work within deadlines, set realistic expectations and independently manage workload.
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
