Overview

  1. Helps with end of the week press sanitation.
  2. Assist with Master Sanitation Schedule.
  3. Assist with other assignments as directed.
  4. May be responsible for process controls as laid out in FSP.

Responsibilities

  1. Records daily and weekly written records (log sheet). Daily production report, dryer temperature charts, freezer, and cooler charts.
  2. Record lot code information and usage of raw ingredients.
  3. Sanitize equipment according to manual (SSOP), using proper GMP’s.
  4. Takes lab samples and perform pre-op inspections.
  5. Makes sure the product runs according to the formula (eggs, water, thickness, length, and moisture)
  6. Sift flour and inspect sifter screens, bring up issues to attention of management.
  7. Move and hook up egg totes with minimal spillage.
  8. Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work area.
  9. Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards in work area.
  10. Follows SOPs for pre-operation, paperwork, cleanup, etc.
  11. Follow GSO’s and other policies designed to improve safety.
  12. Ensures compliance with preventive controls as laid out in Food Safety Plan (FSP).

Qualifications

  1. Must be dependable and reliable.
  2. Good math and reading skills
  3. Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs., safely.

SAFETY

  • Maintains high standard of Safety for all functions on ongoing basis and ensures compliance for self and others to OSHA standards.
  • Required to don all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to slip resistant / steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, shields and uniforms. Must ensure overall good condition of items that provide optimal personal safety & protection while working in the production area.
  • Responsible for providing a safe working environment including compliance with company, state, local and federal policies and regulations.

QUALITY

  • Ensures company standards for cleanliness, food and equipment safety and efficient productivity.
  • Ensures production-packaging area to be in compliance with Quality standards.
  • Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.

TEAMWORK

  • Effectively communicates verbally and written with Team Members, and Management
  • Works respectfully with all team members to ensure the Safety, Quality, production and support of our products and goals on a daily basis.

Working Conditions/Environment

  • This position operates in a manufcacturing environment. The conditions are often loud and require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, beard nets, earplugs, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes. Frequent foot-traffic and forklift traffic is present throughout the facility.
