Develops new business within existing accounts as well as new chain accounts and manages business related to assigned national restaurant chain accounts.


  • Develops sales plans and strategies to meet established sales goals
  • Establishes sales objectives for each national chain account
  • Collaborates with key stake holders to service all aspects of the established business
  • Conducts business reviews with each assigned account
  • Organizes and conducts ideation sessions with R&D and national account customers to identify potential new products
  • Ensures all company-required paperwork, including demand planning itineraries, expense reports, market worksheets and follow-up market letters are completed in a timely, accurate manner
  • Introduces new items to customers; recommend ways to sell product for maximum sales exposure/customer satisfaction
  • Plans, executes, and evaluates all promotional activity for each national account
  • Responsible for updating and communicating pricing to all pricing functions - internally and externally


  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • 4-5 years prior experience in foodservice sales/marketing; national chain account sales experience preferred
  • Understanding of customer R&D/culinary demands and requirements
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Ability to create and maintain customer engagement
  • Relationship and solution-oriented
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills – networking, relationship-building, cross-functional team leadership

Working Conditions/Environment

Typically, works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility.  The noise level in the office is quiet. Travel may be required ~20% or less. At times, remote work may also be required.
