 Performs various warehouse duties warehouses including deployment, shipping/ receiving and maintaining accuracy.


Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily shipping and receiving for warehouses
  • Performs book to book inventory with each and adjust if necessary.
  • Monitors lot dates, ensures accurate FIFO, and ensures proper rotation.
  • Work with Sales Planning to extend and update age date extensions as well as forwarding to 3PL.
  • Investigate inventory issues.
  • Run stock status reports and determine filling resource needs to stop shortages.
  • Address issues with Customer Service.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation with each assigned warehouse and run financial reports.
  • Assist in cycle counting in Distribution Center.
  • Performs random checks of inventory as requested.
  • Assists in annual physical inventories, reconciles inventory data, and determines variance.
  • Assists in gathering information for corporate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Performs special projects as requested.
  • Ensures compliance to quality, food safety, 5S, OSHA and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.
  • Aptitude to learn SAP program.


3-5 years working knowledge of warehousing and inventory control. Adaptable to changing conditions.

Working Conditions/Environment

Works primarily in an office environment, with some time in a warehousing environment. Some lifting, standing, walking, and grasping of product will be involved while moving about the facility. Requires some lifting of moderately heavy items such as file boxes. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.  Must be available on month end and year end inventories. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment.  The noise level in the office and warehouse is minimal. Steel-toed/slip-resistant shoes and high visibility vests are required to enter the warehouse floor to comply with safety standards. Forklift certification is a plus, but not necessary.
