Overview

Provide supervision to the fleet team to ensure the safety, quality, and overall performance of fleet team. Weekend Shift with hours TBD

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring staffing needs.
  • Directing and adjusting staffing to support city operational needs. Participate in training, performance feedback, and disciplinary recommendations, as needed
  • Ensure each team member is compliant with company, customers and government regulations and/or standards
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving service issues on shipments delivered via the Marzetti fleet.
  • Serve as backup and weekend support to the Fleet Coordinator  as needed to include route scheduling.
  • Complete required reporting for internal and external customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Some college work preferred.
  • Proficient in PC use within a Windows operating environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software; knowledge or experience with SAP and TMS preferred.
  • Solid knowledge in state and federal motor vehicle regulations and licensing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Class A CDL license preferred.

Working Conditions/Environment

Weekend shift position. Office environment with minimal travel.
