Maintenance Supervisor Sun-Thurs 12am-8am

Responsible for daily supervision of maintenance personnel, efficient and effective maintenance of production, machinery, equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, including policies related to food safety and procedures.

• Assures that daily preventive maintenance program is followed to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working conditions.
• Plan, Schedule, and Coordinate maintenance activities through the use of a CMMS system.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the maintenance, electrical and mechanical operations.
• Ensures proper maintenance and safety procedures are being followed and conduct audits.
• Constant interaction and participation with maintenance personnel, especially in break down situation.
• Ensures proper information is given to order and maintain maintenance materials, supplies spare parts and repair parts.
• Ensures that all documentation is filled out properly and in their entirety.
• Provides staff training in maintenance of all related equipment and services.
• Work with outside vendors on projects or repairs.
• Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Reviews production schedule and changes over equipment to new sizes or performs preventative maintenance.
• Reviews downtime with production supervisors for accurate reporting of equipment failures.
• Assists with root cause analysis and implementation of correct actions.
• Ensure a disciplined and safe work effort.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety.

• Fifty percent of daily work schedule must be spent on the floor interacting with maintenance employees and Production Supervisors while evaluating equipment, safe work practices, and potential improvements.
• Responsible for daily supervision of maintenance personnel on all shifts.

• Complete knowledge of all electrical and mechanical equipment and functions.
• Ability to keep everything operating to produce in a safe manner.
• High School graduate plus training courses or technical school background.

• Reaching, pulling, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing and walking in industrial environments.
• Working in extreme temperatures both inside and outside the facility.
• Travel when required.
• Work long hours when required. Weekend and holiday work when required and must perform other assignments as directed by management. Respond to “call-in” situations as required to support urgent maintenance situations.
